It’s called our Classic Skin Care Cream because it was our very first therapeutic cream, developed by Davidson’s founder, Robert Davidson, as his very own psoriasis cream. After many experiments, Robert was able to find relief for his own psoriasis with the original formulation of this product – and paved the way for our current natural skin care range.

Steroid free, our Classic Skin Care psoriasis cream includes two main extracts of organic hydrocarbons and proteins, whose components have been found to have anti-fungal, anti-inflammatory and immunomodulatory properties. Which is a fancy way of saying they’re ideal for treating conditions such as psoriasis, eczema, rosacea and acne.

In 1999 in the first controlled medical trials of the Classic Skin Care Cream, the Wellington (New Zealand) School of Medicine concluded that: “…support can be given to the claims of the manufacturer that Apis Mellifera Skin Care Cream is effective in the treatment of eczema”. The cream has also successfully passed cytotoxicity tests.

How Davidson’s Classic Skin Care Psoriasis Cream is made: 

Classic Skin Care blends our two organic beehive extracts with a combined aqueous cream and emulsifying

ointment. This product also contains small amounts of alcohol.

Active ingredients include:

Davidson’s special beehive extracts combine to heal broken and dry skin.

Base ingredients include: 

Aqueous cream BP blended with emulsifying ointment BP, isopropyl alcohol, and purified water to form a base with no chemicals.

How to use:

Apply generously to affected skin as required or twice daily as part of a healthy skin routine. Patch test before incorporating a new product into your routine. If you are concerned due to pregnancy, breastfeeding, or an existing medical condition, or if your problem persists please consult your healthcare professional. Keep out of reach of children.
