1. How does it work?

The pods release a vapour that appears as a flame to birds, along with an unpleasant smell and taste, and a sticky texture, deterring them through their senses.

Remove the cover to expose the gel. Use a small brush to take the gel and dab it on fruit tree near to where a bunch of fruit is. On the branch or on a leaf.

Repeat a dab next to where other fruit are as close to the fruit as able.

Best to do all bunches of fruit that are easily Accessible.

In gardens where seedlings or seeds are planted obtain some Dolly Pegs Like old wooden clothes pegs but smaller) from a $2 shop and push peg into the soil and dab some gel onto top of peg.

Alternative use small sticks or Golf Tees.
